Total Funding: €200k

About ARCHIVE

The partners will develop a product for beekeepers. It consists mainly as “an autonomous connected door” product for beehive with a main key feature to count bees and detect abnormal events by sound analysis. Decision –making applications will complement the offer to monitor the beehives and at the end increase bees welfare and honey production. Since the late 1990s, beekeepers around the world have observed the mysterious and sudden disappearance of bees, and reported unusually high rates of decline in honeybee colonies. The main causes are climate change, pesticide use, habitat loss and parasites.

The development of an advanced electronic system that assesses various statuses is very important for environment evaluation and for beekeeping management to prevent depopulation phenomenon.
